Important Notes
1. For policy start date that is within 14 days -
If a policy is purchased, the Insurance Guarantee Bond will be reflected in MOM’s record within 3 working days. MOM must receive this information before your maid arrives in Singapore. For more information and FAQ on the Insurance Guarantee Bond, click here.
2. For a Malaysian maid -

1. The earliest start date is tomorrow. For start date within 3 days, please refer to the important notes above.
2. Indicate the start date according to your maid type.
a. New Maid: On or before the maid's arrival date in Singapore.
b. Transfer Maid: The agreed transfer date which is also the day you apply for issuance of the maid's new work permit.
c. Renewal Maid: One day after the expiry date of the current work permit.
